The Meaning of Life - What is Our Purpose?

Posted: 13-Nov-2013    Category: Business, Psychology

The history of mankind has been marked by many struggles. We have conquered many feats in terms of scientific thinking, architectural advancement, philosophical reasoning and more.

However, despite all this progress, we are still grappling with the question of purpose.

Why are we here? What is the meaning of our lives?

According to Victor Frankl, the human race is made to look for meaning, even in our darkest times. As daunting as the question is, we should be heartened by the fact that we always have free will.

This means that no matter why we are here, we have the power to change our existence. We have the power to decide who we are and what we want to do. We have the ability to choose our own purpose, based on any creed or belief we so desire.

  1. We all want to know our purpose. Why we are here is a question that people have been asking since the beginning of time. It is one people will ask until the end of time.
  2. Finding our purpose is a part of finding ourselves. The question matters because it speaks to who we are and how we live our lives.
  3. The question is still important. The struggle of purpose is always worthwhile.

Wrestle with the answer for yourself, and your life will be better for it.
